BTW, is there anyway I can get the SPF and Indian PCC done before getting the ITA?

For Singapore, you need to show a document with your name that the country is asking you to submit a Police Clearance. Without this document they will not entertain you. So you need to wait until you have your ITA.

Hi Guys,

I am also in Singapore and just received OINP interest 2 days back.
I have 458 points at this time and planning to wait for the next draw and see how it goes.

If scores are still high then I will not wait for anymore EE rounds and just apply for OINP.

I have a query.

For proof of funds for 2 persons (Me and my wife), should it be according to LICO table or 50% of LICO table?

According to LICO table - 30495 CAD.

According to 50% of the LICO table (Required funds) - 14853 CAD.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance !

Hi im from Singapore as well.

have any of you guys faced this problem? there was an outage yesterday evening. CIC has given me an extension of 60 days for me to obtain my FBI cert since I have lived there for more than 6 mths. The dateline given to me was 18th Jan 2016 based on the correspondence from them on 18th Nov. However yesterday during the outage, the dateline changed from 18th Jan 2016 to 12 Dec 2015.

has anyone faced the same?

Does that mean that I can apply for the Indian PCC?

Not sure about the process in India, but if you are certain that you will be getting an ITA for the next draws then go ahead and have it ready. Anyway most of the PCC's are valid for 6 months.

Does any one know if CPF is accepted as POF for PR application?

Yes, 2 of my friends landed in Canada this year and they showed only CPF as their POF.

I submitted my CPF as POF for OINP and got nominated.

No. I requested it from CPF as I need them to sign and stamp the document.

Hi Experts,

Can anyone advise me on below items;

1. The 90 days processing time for Ontario PN is from acknowledgement received date or AOR date onwards?

2. At present Can I apply for Saskatchewan PNP? Is it still active?

Thanks & Regards

1. By right 90 days will start from the day they received your application package. In my case, they received my application package 2nd July, my AOR is 26th Aug and my nomination is 6th October. Total number of days is a little more than the 90 days window, but I think still acceptable.

However, I see posts that they are taking a bit of time now processing the applications. Like some cases will take about 4 months before getting a nomination.

2. I think Sasakatchewan just recently opened the PNP application but the quota is full already. You can try checking PNP openings by January 2016.

I believe you need to submit PCC for Singapore only after submitting application for Permanent Residence - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/singapore.asp

Yes, except those who are under PNP. I was able to get my PCC even without an ITA by only presenting my nomination certificate from OINP.
