Already 5-6 PPRs been reported in whatsapp groups! It's raining, it's truly raining!

Bro my background check changed to in progress today. How about yours? And do you have any idea about the usual timeframe between BGIP to PPR at SGVO?

Bro you are 2nd November AOR from SGVO and your BG is already in process? That's amazing! I have some questions for you please:

1. Did you paid RPRF upfront?
2. What's your country of residence?
3. How many dependents you have?
4. Did you get any additional document request?

Thanks & congrats for your BGIP. For SGVO the average time between BGIP to PPR is one week only!

Congrats once again!

I hope just like faster BGIP they issue faster PPR too and we don't get stuck at BGIP stage.

You are a FeB 2016 applicant, I know how you must be feeling. Since your BG went in progress for second time your PPR shouldn't be far away InshaAllah. Wish you good luck.

Thank you very much!! It's quite frustrating to hold up all plans and rejecting opportunities just for this!!!

Mine too! From NS to IP today! Woo hoo!

Recently the appeal for police certificate from Singapore got rejected for me. They are requesting the following information to be submitted
"An official request letter from the Canadian Immigration department bearing your full name and/or file number which states that you need to obtain a COC or police clearance from our office."
I already got the ITA from Canada but no where in ITA document requirement is mentioned ? I also need to get clearance for my wife and her name is not mentioned any where in the ITA received.
Can some one help me out in resolving this issue ?

You need to wait until after you submit your e-APR. CIC will send you a request for a PCC and a slot will open up in your application to submit it. SG is one of a handful of countries that need a letter from CIC to issue a PCC.

"Do I need to provide a police certificate with my application for permanent residence? No. We will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your application for permanent residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a police certificate."

CIC's request letter will list all the people on your application, and state that you'll need to get certificates for all of them .

Make sure when submitting your e-APR to include a statement saying you're applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC.
