Hello guys, I ma flying to Canada on 1st jan.
i have few doubts regarding part time work permit. Is SIN mandatory to work part time in Canada while studying? If yes then how to apply for it? Do I need to inform the immigration officer on airport itself that I will be working thr part time?
I am confused. Pls help.

1. Yes a SIN is required.
2. You go to a Service Canada centre with your study permit and apply. It takes about 10 minutes.
3. No, you don't if you are attending a designated school and the course is over 6 months in length.
