Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share that I extended my SIN online on 4/9 and that it got processed on 4/24, so it took them about two weeks. Got the written confirmation today. I was told by Service Canada that we can’t access our mycra account once it has expired (not sure whether that’s true), but it might be a sign for people who are still waiting that their SIN extension has also been processed.

Did you get the confirmation via mail or it was sent to your email? I applied for mine(new sin) a few days ago but worried on how long it will take.

can anyone please tell me that I have applied for extension of my SIN expiry. Do I need to stop working till I get a new extended expiry date?
