Hi guys,

just wondering if anyone else has a similar situation to mine and can offer any advice. My husband and I only live about 5 hours apart and before we got married we would often visit each other every weekend. Once married we still crossed the border in the same vehicle when spending longer holidays together. Just wondering now having sent in our application last weekend if visiting each other every weekend is an okay idea or if we should wait awhile between visits.

Thanks for any input

Morgan

Hi Morgan :D Lets put this into perspective. First, you're married, second you live 5hrs apart. Happily married people want to see each other as much as possible. My advice is not to overthink it and continue on with your happily married life spending as much available time together. ;D

I think it may help that you haven't (at least on the face of it) overstayed and in fact from what you describe you have been very respectful of the rules.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

the only thing that changes with border crossings after submitting a pr application is that it may actually make your crossings easier. as saria said, stop overthinking it and enjoy life normally. believe me, if cbsa has an issue with your crossings, they will let you know. you are not going to be automatically denied entry. they deny entry when there is concern of your intentions or proof of illegal activity.
