Sikkim Manipal University + WES

Hi,

One of my friend wants to get his Education cedentials assessed. his education is MBA -DE (2011-2013) from Sikkim manipal. SM MBA distance education recognized from any of the ECE organizations (WES, ICAS/IQAS. I have read newspaper articles reporting that UGC has stopped SM DEC accredition during those years. Can someone guide which EAS center to reach out to in case of Sikkim Manipal Distance MBA program .

I have done BA from Delhi University & MBA from SMU DE.

BA from DU will be easily accessed Via WES but as i read here MBA (Masters ) from SMU Distance Education is not recognized by WES stating Unrecognized University.

So what shall i do here? Apply for WES validation for delhi university & some other like IQAS etc validation for SMU DE ?? Can it work that way ?? or both degrees should be validated from Same authority ?

Please guide.

IQAS evaluates SMU degree. You can try sending it to IQAS. There was a news that SMU degrees after years 2012 are no longer valid. So do a google about it

personally, my degree was rewarded in year 2012 and IQAS positively accepted it.

I understand that but my question is :

Can i get my degrees evaluated from different agencies . In my case : 1 from WES & 1 From IQAS ?

Yes Bachelors from WES and Masters from IQAS is fine.

But, if you have not already evaluated your Bachelors, then send both Bachelors and Masters to IQAS. Save 233 CAD dollars from WES.

Do you have documents for two different universities? If yes, send them in one package.

The amount that we need to show in our bank account. Should it stay in the bank for 6 months ? So shall i first keep the required anount in the bank & accordingly apply on completion of 6 months?

12 weeks post all transcripts are delivered to IQAS.

the account should be 6 months older at least.

If you are applying for PNP, then funds should be from 3-6 months older, if Direct invitation, then 1 month older.

You can not. If you are PR or citizen, you can invite on work permit.
