I wish you luck! From what I hear this is really hit or miss. It might help that I'm from the US, don't know for sure.

Someone said it's a month from PPR to COPR normally? When does the website update?

Don't expect something to happen right away when you send it in. I sent mine almost a week ago and nothing has changed since on my status on the website. For all I know it could be another six months, and I'm proceeding under that assumption until I know otherwise.

Oh no, not expecting anything to happend straightaway. If you look at my time line, we started Feb 2012 and just receiving this request. It took them long enought to reach the decision on the sponsorship eligibility (6 months). Im so used to it now waiting game. Im one of those one in a million case. lol..

Even though I did receive PPR, it could be another several months before receiving COPR. I agree, there is no straight forward answer of how CIC chooses to process applications. I know a person who applied May 2013 and still is waiting for PPR. Hopefully yours will come soon.

LOL!

I sure did. My husband is in the Canadian Army and was about to go away for several months with little to no contact with me due to his scheduled. We sent them an email explaining just that and we received quite a snippy remark back.

"As stated in our previous e-mail dated 2014/05/02 once a decision is made you will be notified directly" blah blah blah...glad they care enough about their military to try to ease their minds about this stressful stuff before they ya know they go off to defend their country!
