Signatures on family form

I am applying online for my study permit but just want to confirms whether I need to sign the family form? It is really confusing as I can paste my electronic signature on the form. Someone, please help me as soon as possible. Need to apply for visa as my classes start on the 3rd of September.

In online submission, you can digitally sign the application at the end when paying fee. So not mandatory to sign the family info pdf.

so i should just leave the signature area in the family form? i dont know it us quoted in the family form that your application will be returned if signatures are not done.
