Signature on old form

Hi,

I have my partner's signature on a page from form 1344E of July 2011, but I saw now there's a new form dated February 2012. Should I use the new form and include the old signature? Or the old form with signature? I've been working so long on this that it doesn't make sense to get new signatures after how long it took to get them already.

I don't think you should worry, my 'whole' pkg was the old one. It was sent in Jan/12 and they accepted it.

The only difference is that the new form now has a barcode.. I just noticed.

I had no problems with mine...I think as long as the signature is dated prior to the new forms, its acceptable.

hey that's good to know and woow u received AOR soo fast and also the sponsor approval?? i guess so since i see they already called u for an interview : (good luck!!) why not join the January thread to share everything together (so many didn't get anything yet and they applied around the same time with u : )

as for the initial question the old forms r valid until the end of this month!!! some people called CIC asking the same thing and they advised that as long as u sent them until the end of Feb it's still ok....u need to consider when u want to sent them, how long it takes to be received and also the courier receival date might not be the same with the day when CIC stamps to be received - maybe it could b a few days difference...u can call them if u r not sure but i would fill in the new form just to b on the safe side...also the new form with the bar code is making them save a lot of time, which might influence the process with a few days

yeah correct end of March is written on their website, end of Feb is their advice; overall the forms r accepted until the end of March (i know we r in March ) (the receival stamp should be before March 31st) but their advice is: if u didn't send them by the end of Feb then it's better to send the new forms...even me i'm worried that maybe they will look over the application after March 31st and they will return it : and i sent it end of Jan...

I initially sent my forms in June/11, but was sent back to me in Aug cuz I didn't put step daughters meds in pkg. So I already had file/client # when it came back. Huge delay on our part, I re-sent Jan/12, so I didn't go to the back of the line. Thnk God! I'm sure they'd like to know the reason for our delay, so interview next month.

Delays area a scary thought... then getting my application perfect is another delay. On some aspects I would like to just have it mailed already!
