Do I have to print and send the application forms to the Philippines and let my husband sign it? Or can I just sign it(as the sponsor) in his behalf?

No - you can't sign it. Your husband has to physically sign it and the signature has to be original.

Hi, though I would always defer to Scylla as she knows a lot more about this, this is my personal experience:

1. Fill out all the forms together on video chat
2. Separate the signature pages from all forms via a pdf splitter online
3. Sent all pages needing signature to him via email
4. He signed all of them using Adobe Fill & Sign which is an app on his smart phone
5. He emailed me all forms
6. I merged all PDF files via pdf merger online
7. Printed all forms out and I physically signed them

Sent the complete package to CPC-M and it was not returned to me. It's a lot of work to split and merge PDFs and takes patience but was worth it for us not having to spend all the extra money on him shipping everything to me via express courier. But then again, I may have just been lucky that my VO was not strict.

As scylla said, signatures are required to be original, so you should not be advising people otherwise.

yes, and i did put a disclaimer that Scylla is more knowledgable. I shared what I personally did that 100% worked for me as our application package was not returned and is in final stages and even put in a note that my VO may not have been as strict.

That was very lucky. Signatures do have to be original. We have seen entire applications returned due to lack of an original signature.
