It always fascinates me how much complaints we hear every day from everyone on forum pages about CIC processing times. However, when it comes to any action, even as small as just signing a petition no one does nothing...only 192 signatures, seriously?

Agreed! More of us need to take action, and this is how! I personally have been sending emails to our PM, to no avail of course, but it is always worth a try!

One thing you can do is to create an e-petition on the parliament site. It is new, and i believe will be much more effective than change.org

Unhappy people are the ones who post the most, so it is only natural you read so many complaints. Don't be fooled by that. Most people are happy/ok with processing times, and they are majority.

My wife's visa office had a posted wait time of 30 months, but she got PR in 6 months. Also we never made the mistake of filing inland, as I think that's where most of the complaints are coming from.
