Hi guys, one question: Could I have an Etsy account and sell through that? I am planning to volunteer while on mt TRV awaiting PR approval, but if I can also make some money through that... Would the account have to be a Canadian one, or the country where I am from?

This would be considered self-employment and would not be allowed, especially if you were shipping your items out of Canada.

Depends how it is structured. Someone else could own the account and you could be doing the work for them (formally). Mailing out of Canada could be problematic, but the easy solution would be having a Canadian mail things out, while the administrative work done by the foreigner, online.

That's against Etsy's policies and will result in the shop being closed. They've really been cracking down lately on anything that's against their terms of use. Shop owner has to provide ID and everything has to match up with that ID including the shop's paypal account and the location from where the items are shipped. So no go.
