Please can I get some clarity, I applied for the express entry with my husband who indicated that the has a sibling in Canada, he actually does have a sibling but this sibling has refused to provide the necessary documents at the last possible moment, what can be done?
Try to convince the sibling .. As posted above you will need several documents proving existence of this sibling plus the fact that this sibling actually LIVES in Canada... I doubt trying to convince IRCC with anything different will be much use since it adds 15 points which can make alot of difference

Can someone clarify when do you need to submit the proofs of sibling. Is it during creating Express Entry profile, or only after you get the ITA?

Hi All,
I am a Canadian PR holder. I did not add my sister in my application (IMM 5406) considering the fact that she is married. Now she has decided to move to Canada and would require sibling points. As I did not declare her initially, would she be able to get those point?

Hi!

I had a question.
My husband and I have got our PR and we would be landing in two months.
My brother would be filling his express entry profile in three-four months now.
By then, I would be there staying for two months. Can he get points for having a sister there?

Thank you

Yes he'll be able to claim points. If you haven't gotten your PR card by then he can upload your signed CoPR (signed by immigration officer on landing).

If she's in Canada without a valid PR card what's her legal status?
isnt PR card is just to enter canada . she is on PR but just card is expired.
if she leaves canada , ofcourse she wont be able to reenter canada unless PR card is renewed .

Hm not sure about this, but I'd recommend you to ask her to renew it and upload a scanned copy of the new one.

Hello, need your help with a query. I have claimed points for a sibling in Canada,- in order to show his address proof can we use phone bill and address letter from the bank, the address on the Pr card is a previous one.
Thanks.

I have heard for the first time that PR card has an address on it. Anyways, You need to submit latest utility bill-Water or electricity or Telephone, etc or bank statement should work as well. Bill should have your siblings name on it.

Of course once you get the invitation to apply (ITA) for PR.

The profile is just listing all your information, you application is actually proving everything you said when you created your profile; so it's only at this stage when you'll need to provide supporting documentation.
