Can I claim 15 points for sibling if the sibling is a PR and resides in Canada but currently visiting America?

When you say visit, is it just a short trip or prolonged stay.
Your sibling has to be residing in Canada for you to claim the points.

One of the conditions of claiming points is that the sibling should be living in Canada at the time of application. Are you sure that doesn't mean that he must be present in Canada at the time of application?

I too have a question. My elder brother got his Landing in March and got his PR card in April of this year. At the moment he only has a bank account in Canada, can I show his PR card and his bank statement as proof of sibling and including his birth certificate.

Thanks for your feedback.

Could you please clarify what do you mean by "at the time of application" ? Is it only submitting the application or the whole duration from submitting the application till final decision is given? In my case, my brother was in Canada at the time of application that is during ITA and AOR (Feb 2020) and still in Canada. He will be leaving Canada temporarily for 4/5 months at end of this month while my application has not been approved yet. My eligibility is Recommended Pass
