Should your masters degree be in the same discipline as your job, for immigration to Canada?

I have UGC recognized bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology, but I'm a web developer with 7 years experience in software development.

As far as my technical education is concerned, I have done GNIIT, a 3-year diploma in computers and software development. I am also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). These qualifications are not recognized by the government of India (by UGC, NAAC, or AICTE).

My bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology are recognized by the government of India, but they are not related to my job.

Am I eligible to migrate to Canada as a skilled worker and work there as a web developer?

Yes, normally it should not be a problem.
The degree that you can see in the NOC pages are not mandatory.
