Dear team,

Though my wife has worked for 4.5 years, but she did not receive her offer letters and relieving letters from the hotels she worked during her stay in London on student visa. Now if I file her application along with mine which is already 'In Process' status and don't show her work experience, would there be any difficulty in getting her visa. In this I can filer her application very quickly.

Seniors please suggest.

Many thanks

I already have my application with visa office and it is in process status. Since I recently got married I want to include my spouse also in my application. I want To know if I really need to show her work ex while sending her papers to VO.

No, you don't need to show her work experience. You are the PA, and therefore you are the one they will be evaluating, so assuming you have already received a positive selection decision (you had enough points) then you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Also, my status is shown as "In Process" and further says as "Your application was reviewed and is now under process". How long will it further take if I include my wife now in my application since I recently got married.

Sadly, trying to predict the time frames at CIC is a bit like trying to predict the weather on a tuesday six months hence.

From what others have reported it sets the process back 4-8 months. You submit updated documents (essentially, you go through the documents as if you were filing a new application and send in any forms that have changed as a result of your change of status). They would then request medicals (for her if you have already done it, for both of you otherwise), RPRF, new PCCs (although you should submit one for your new wife with the new forms so they won't need an update for her - and you could update yours at the same time pre-emptively.)

The important thing is whether or not they have made a selection decision yet. If they have, then you wouldn't need any more points. If they have not, you should document your spouse's abilities to pick up the extra points for adaptability.

Good luck - hopefully someone who has gone through your experience will be able to share some insight.
