Should we write any thing on back of the photo?

or just send?

No need to write anything on Photo 35MM x 45MM , just write on the back of rest of the supporting pics .

in our country-specific instructions it says there that we have to write our name, our birthdate and signature on the 9 pcs immigration photos

Follow your country instructions.

Mine were stamped by the place I had them done with date and place of photo along with verification of my ID but I had different country instructions.

my appendix did not mention to write back on the photo is your appendix B is written to mention detail?

At the AppendixB they didn't mention to write our details at the back of the photo.But in our country-specific instructions they did put a note there to write our name,birth date and signature.You might wanna check instructions from your country because it varies .

I was told to write on the back of each pics and don't stick them on large blank sheets.

If that is the instruction not to write anything in your immigration photo so be it. Different countries have different instruction.
