hello,
my fiance lives in Canada and is under working permit (Canadian experience; he graduated there), he filled in January the PR so we shouldn't hear back from that until Nov-DEC. meanwhile i live in the USA under f1 visa and I'm a graduate teaching assistant with a bachelor degree in petroleum engineering and I'm pursuing a master. now my fiance and i are looking for the best and quickest way for me to move to Canada. we thought about 3 options
1- get married now and send an update to the immigration about his change of marital status and so he can declare me as dependent and our papers go together
2- wait until he get his PR and then get marry and file for me
3- i come as a qualified skill worker (i took the online evaluation and i got approved but i might have some problem with working experience since what i considered as working experience was my GTA position)
please let me know what would be the quickest way among the three options or if there are other suggestions (we've been dating for 7 years and we are getting tired of going back and fourth to Canada or USA) :)

1 would be the fastest.
3: Federal Skilled Worker (and the entrepreneur/investor classes) are more objective than the family class. For family class you have to prove your relationship is real, which is ultimately a judgment call on the part of the visa officer. So if you are worried you might have trouble proving your marriage is genuine, Federal Skilled Worker is more secure, since you can guess pretty accurately whether you will be accepted ahead of time.

Thank you so much for replying. i don't think we will have trouble proving the marriage is genuine like i said we've been dating for 7 years so there is plenty of evidences.
since he already got his CSQ and is in process for PR, does he have to apply for a new CSQ given that he is changing marital status? also do you know how long it can extend the delivery of the PR (just an approximation)
thank you again for replying.
