Hi All,

This might not be a very sensible question, but I felt that I should ask it anyways.

Should we start applying for jobs in Canada after receiving ITA or wait till we get our approved PR.

Also what should we mention in the resume to let the employer know that we are in the process of getting our PR. Should we mention the ITA reference number to make them aware or is it something else.

Any guidance regarding this would be highly appreciated.

You won't get one. You need PR and have to be in Canada to even get a call from a recruiter. Its almost impossible to find work while you are residing at your home country.

Thank you for the reply. But some of my cousins who moved to Canda recently where able to get job offers and interview calls while they where still in there home country. They joined there new companies after one week of landing with quite good pay packages. So I am now bit confused.

I am not really sure. But if that's the case, just ask your cousin. I think it depends hugely on the field you are in.

Doesn't it also depend on the province??

For instance, BC wants you to have a job offer before you arrive.
