Should we send Original documents to University or College ?

Please advice, Georgian College asking for Original notarized educational documents including graduate certificate. I mailed them duplicate educational certificate with application form. Why its not acceptable ? I applied to other Colleges and Universities.
How can I send Original educational documents to every one.

Just take Photocopy(xerox) of all ur original documents ,
and get it signed and stamped by NOTARY Public lawyer.
(u can find hell lot of then near any district, or state or any other Civil courts)
The NOTARY can be either state notary or Notary of India.

Even i applied to Georgian college by this method. Got offer letter.
