Should Travel History include a short trip to home country ?

Hi,
I was in the UK for a year for my postgraduate course and visited my family back home in India during my Christmas break for a week.
Should I split my travel history to declare this short trip? Or will a trip for education to the UK for a full year be more apt for the travel history?

My understanding is that you don't need to declare trips between your home country and your country of residence.

However, if you are not currently residing in the UK, then yes, you have to list it.
