Hello experts

My sibling has a canadian PR but their family is residing in the US.
Will i still be able to claim the additional 15 pts.

Pls advise, i am currently at 415 points and these 15 can help me to get an ITA soon.

Any advise regarding this will be very helpful

You cannot claim sibling pts if they are not living in canada. After ITA u have to upload recent utility bill/ bank account etc to prove their residence in canada.

Hi,

Please see the requirement as per canada immigration

"
You, or if it applies, your spouse or common-law partner, have a relative:
  • living in Canada
  • 18 years or older and
  • a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
"

As per the wordings, the relative has to be living in Canada. They do ask for proofs for relative's address in Canada.

Hope this helps.
