If you have one, what is holding you back to send it with the application before CIC asks for it ?gill656 said:I am gonna apply under CEC in June. Should I send my PCC along with the application or wait for officer to ask for.
Read the checklist - they say that "you are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to CIO"gill656 said:I am gonna apply under CEC in june. Should I send my PCC along with the application or wait for officer to ask for.
You can write a quick covering letter with your UCI, Application #, Full Name, Passport #, DOB andKSHARAV said:Hello - Just received my PCC's, to send them to immigration office, are there are any application form to be filled up or just a reference letter with UCI and Application # is enough along with original PCC's ?
Please confirm.

I think it would be better just to send it by e-mail (ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca) first, they do not require you to submit original - so they will attach it ti your file right away.KSHARAV said:Hello - Just received my PCC's, to send them to immigration office, are there are any application form to be filled up or just a reference letter with UCI and Application # is enough along with original PCC's ?

Sober, the applicant should send original police certificates. Also, If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application.Sober said:I think it would be better just to send it by e-mail (ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca) first, they do not require you to submit original - so they will attach it ti your file right away.
Or by fax 613-946-6059
Info you need provide them with in order to identify you:
"Make sure that you include your name, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) to help us identify your application"
At least you won't wait till they open mails received within particular period of time (in a month or so after your docs reached visa office)
So they won't consider my application completed until they receive original even if they have copy? (mine takes three weeks to be delivered, but I've submitted copy with my application as was advised by a friend of mine who went through this process couple of years ago)yahoo7 said:Sober, the applicant should send original police certificates. When you first submit the application, it is ok not to include the PCC. But you should make all efforts to get a PCC and send the original for CIC to make a decision on your application.Sober said:So they won't consider my application completed until they receive original even if they have copy?
