Should I wait for Work Visa if I have a visitor visa

I am now outside Canada. My work permit application is approved but I only have an approved letter. I want to know if I need to apply a work visa to come? I already has a valid visitor visa for 10 years. Is the work visa necessary if I come as a worker in Canada? If I come with visitor visa, will the border office give me the work permit？ Thank you for everyone who can give any advices.

Similar situation here. I have a valid multiple-entry visitor-business visa. My work permit application is approved without issuing me a new visa. Still waiting for response.

Same situation here. Have a valid multiple entry business visitor visa. Work permit got approved, without new visa. Will old and valid business visa + work permit approval work for entry into Canada?
