Should I wait for AOR before mailing PCC documents?

I already mailed in my PR application, and am waiting for AOR (well over 2 months). While waiting, I received my PCC...so I'm wondering if I should wait for AOR before mailing in my PCC, or should I mail the PCC now itself? I'm worried my PCC certificates might expire, depending on how long it takes for AOR to come.

Hi cupcakes,

DO NOT send your PCC now as you don't have any reference number yet. Wait until you receive your AOR. Once you have it, draft a cover letter mentioning your full name, date of birth and UCI number and send it to CIC along with your PCC. So that they should be able to pull your file and add your PCC to the file. Usually the PCC is valid for 12 months, so you still have lot of time...don't worry about it.

Thanks a lot, Sarayu. I will wait in that case. I can imagine it will be a huge headache for them to attach my PCC to the application before they've even issued a file number.
