Hi Guys,

I have been nominated by SINP, in MyCIC I have shown family size of 2 at present, so Should I update it to 3 since my wife is pregnant and baby is due Mid-Jan.
I have accepted Nomination too.

OR Should I wait until the child is born and then update the family size.

I am not sure if we can update family size once we get ITA. can seniors tell please.

You can add new child details after he/she is born. You cannot add the information when the child is not born. You will need birth certificate, passport, etc.

Refer to this link for more information - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-add-new-child-post-ita-application-t347467.0.html

thanks very much for your reply. Also, does the new born have to do medical tests. Apart from this, I think I have to pay 150$ extra for the child but I dont have to pay 490$ (RPRF)..is this correct.

New born and children up to 5 years do not have any medical tests. Doctor just checks them physically - normal physical check-up.

Yes, you need to pay $150 extra per child.
