IELTS is mandatory, TEF is optional. If you feel that it will help you increase your score considerably, you can give TEF. Use this link to see how much of a difference IELTS and TEF can make to final CRS score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

IELTS is mandatory.
TEF is optional. If you can obtain a good score in both, especially TEF, then definitely you get extra points as well as advantage while applying for any PNP.
Kindly appear for both exams and it can make your immigration journey easier.

TEF would also qualify you to French-priority PNPs like New Brunswick, Ontario, PEI.

See which language you are more comfortable enough to declare as your first language?

if you declare french as first language then you need B2 in all 4 sections, and if you declare it as your second language then B1 is sufficient.

when you declare french as your 2nd language, B2 in all would fetch you 24 pts (6 in each section) whereas B1 in all 4 would give you 4 (1 in each).

French is actualy my first language .
btw i just got R:7 ,S:8.5 ,W:6.5 and L:5.5 , and people told it was unelligible is that true ? even if english isn't my first language ?

Your question has already been answered in your other thread. It doesn't matter that English is your first or not your first language - all that matters is the score on the test you took.

If you put English as your second official language, these results are sufficient.

It seems you better give both tests and put French as your 1st language. In language department you will rock!
