should i test in both TEF and IELTS?

TEF is optional. If you can obtain a good score in both, especially TEF, then definitely you get extra points as well as advantage while applying for any PNP.

See which language you are more comfortable enough to declare as your first language?
if you declare french as first language then you need B2 in all 4 sections, and if you declare it as your second language then B1 is sufficient.
when you declare french as your 2nd language, B2 in all would fetch you 24 pts (6 in each section) whereas B1 in all 4 would give you 4 (1 in each).

Your question has already been answered in your other thread. It doesn't matter that English is your first or not your first language - all that matters is the score on the test you took.mooncef said:
