Should I start a new application?

I applied for a study visa from Nigeria,
I did my biometrics and submitted my documents febuary 2022. I didn’t get any reply from IRCC until December 2022 asking me to submit updated documents which I did. And I’m yet to get any reply from them again since then. My application has been going on for over a year and I’ve raised several web forms. Do you think my file has been abandoned and Should I start a new application again?

I’ve not been asked to do medicals yet, I’ve only done biometrics

until you receive a decision, the file is considered to be in process
Try calling iRCC to check
 
you cant send two application either you withdraw the previous application and reply or call the IRCC to check your application status.
