Hi to all,

Here's my situation. Wife is permanent resident of Canada and we want to bring her son to Canada on a TRV and then apply for an outland pr for him while he is here.

Now my question is: Would immigration like to see a roundtrip ticket back to his home country with his mother accompanying him or would a one way ticket to Canada be ok?

Any insights would be helpful. Thank you.

Definitely a round trip (with mother accompanying him). A one way ticket raises red flags, particularly in this case, where the child has strong ties to Canada (i.e. his mother).
