Hello,

I have a quick question regarding my PCC. I didn't send it originally with my application. I just gained it from back home. I have received my AOR already.

The question I had was that should I send this PCC now or should I wait for CIC to request the PCC first and then send it to them?

Please guide.

Thanks

Its better to send PCC now, because when CIC ask you for PCC it should be obtained in last 3 months.

and you will not hear anything from CIC in next 6 months atleast

Hi CEC NLD

Thanks a lot for your reply. So lets say If I send my PCC now then they will not request it in the future then? Also, if I send it now then i dont need to worry about that three months requirement, right? I just got it yesterday.

Please guide.

Thanks

Just send it. If they need it they will look at it; if they don't then they keep it aside. If they receive it before three months then you don't have to worry about it. Cheers. :)

What is the 3 months requirement? Can someone explain me?

I sent my PCC after getting my AOR. But CIC asked me PCC after my medicals.

"The certificate must have been issued no more than three (3) months prior to submitting your application."

Refer to the Police Certificates section of the CEC Application guide:

Thanks Goku for your input.
