Should I go for pg diploma or masters degree in Canada?

I am BTech degree holder in computer science (80%) and having almost 3 years of working experience in software industry.

I am really confused what to take as both are equal in terms of fees.
My main motive is to immigrate there.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

Seems obvious that a masters is likely to carry more credit in any study permit application and any future job application than a PGD .

Thanks, I have to take part in September intake for masters as there are only PGD courses available for May intake.

Masters will always have the upper hand from PGD, you have good percentage so can apply for Universities for Masters program and there is certain quota for Masters and PHD candidates to apply for PR directly after graduation in some provinces. That being said,it is very competitive these days for getting admit in renowned unversities and not to forget long waiting periods after application.

As your purpose is immigration only ,go for PGD but for better ROI and long term benifit ,go with Masters course with a good university.

Yes, my main goal is to immigrate there with cheap and best possibility.

Better job opportunities, better profile, more respect, better education.... if you are getting all this in same cost .... then why not?
yes, Carleton University is offering 3 full terms + 1 co-op term, masters program of 2 years with a fee of $7500 per term so it will be approx. $24k and PGD is offered from Lambton college with 3 full term program plus 1 co-op term of 2 years with 7k per term which will be $22k approx.

i think you are right, would go for masters.

My knowledge lacks in relevance to your field of study, however i am sure with little research you can choose suitable course/college. I do read that U of Waterloo is located in Tech. Hub and Queens Uni is also good option.
