Should I do a medical exam?

Hello,

I helped my daughter completed an online application for a study permit in Hong Kong. When we were filling out the questions the system said that she needs to do a medical exam, but after I submitted on the 26th of June the application it indicates that she doesn't. I still believe that she needs one because she has always been in Hong Kong and HK is on the list. However, we still have not received any medical exam request. Should we go to a panel doctor to get an upfront examination done and update them to make the process faster? Thank you for your help.

You need to do the upfront before you submit the application so you can include it in the uploads, if you do it now you will have nowhere to attach it. If you correctly selected Yes in the questionnaire when asked if you stayed in one of the "Designated" countries they will ask you to do a medical when the time comes.
