Should I decline the ITA?

Hello all,
I received an ITA in the last draw under CEC. The system calculated my scores to be 500 which includes 38 points for foreign work experience. The point is I didn't want to claim points for foreign work experience because its nearly impossible for me to get the required paper work to prove it now. I put the foreign work experience as part time in my profile but I guess I missed something. The thing is now I got an ITA which includes 38 points for foreign work, which I can't prove. I would have been invited at 462 points in the last draw if I would have omitted my foreign work exp, as the cut off was 461. I don't know what to do now. Should I decline and wait for another draw? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thnx

You can have the system recalculate your CRS.

Check the tab for 'when a candidates situation changes' on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/invite.asp

CIC recalculate your points and if it is less than score for round of invitation your application will be refused. if your score matches or above the invitation score you should be ok ..
you can provide LOE and mention that your score is above the round of invitation score.

if you dont want to take a risk you can decline the ITA and remove your foreign work history which should remove your 38 points and hope for next ITA ..

You sould create a new profile and submit it in the pool. if you get a new ITA good, you can decline the previous ITA.
If you do not get a new ITA wait till the end of 60 days period to submit your application with the explanation.

It is likley that yuo will get a new ITA.

Thanks!

I really don't want to complicate it for visa officer. And I don't want to get stuck in a long wait for next invite under 462. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, dont know how i screwed up. I am really worried about going ahead and submitting my file as I won't be able to prove foreign work if asked. The last thing I want is rejection under misrepresentation. Its frustrating and I am super confused.

You don't have to decline anything. Just submit your app without foreign work experience explaining that you don't want to claim points for it. The VO will recalculate it.

I Agree, do not decline. see posts above for links and explanantion. You can now exclude your foreign work experience and recalculate your points, if it is still above the cut off, you're good to go. The rules are clear on this. Only remark is to add this experience under your personal history so you're not omitting anything (it doesn't count points this way and it doesn't require any documentation either). Explain everything in a LOE.

Thank you all for the prompt replies. My CRS comes down to 462 if i remove my foreign work exp from my profile. My scores would still stay above last draw's cut off of 461. I am little apprehensive but i guess i should go ahead with the process.
