Should i covert OWP to CLosed WP

Hi - i received the OWP visa (as part of the Ontario PNP program). My PR is in process in Delhi. But, i can travel immediately to Canada since i received the Stamping.

The question i have is - if I get a job in some company in Canada, should my OWP visa be converted to Closed WP and tagged to that company that is giving me job?? If yes, what is the process? Should i do it from India only? I may travel there w/o a job and hunt for job while physically being present in Canada.

Hi,

Not necessarily. If you already have an Open Work Permit, you are eligible to work for any employer in Canada without having to convert/apply for Closed Work Permit.
