Hi Guys,
Looking for some advice. I was selected to apply for Permanent residence for my Parents. The family size was 3 at this time. My income for the last 3 years 2017,2016 and 2015 were above the min requirements for 3 family members. I just got married which means the family size is now 4. My income for 2015 was 54,000 which is 5000 short of the min requirement for a family size of 4.
Should I ask my wife to be the cosigner? Will they combine our incomes for the last 3 years and should the combined income be greater than the min income threshold.

Hoping someone can help me out here or if any additional info is required I can provide

Hi

Your wife's income can be included if it was earned in Canada and she is a Canadian citizen/PR.

Keep in mind if your wife signs, even after you guys separate, she will be financially responsible for them for 20 years. You should let her know this beforehand and see if shes ok w that
