Hi Guys,
I have been following the forum for a year now and I am glad the new system is working for most of you.
My original plan was to pursue my masters in Canada and then apply for PR after completing one year of work experience under PGWP as it guaranteed me higher points and a better chance to be selected.
I had not stopped to look at the possibility of applying right now. But when I ran my stats through the calculator on canadavisa.com and ruichenlaw.com, I score between 415 and 438 which appears to be a decent score based on the current pattern of draws. If I get a PR and them apply to any of the universities I would have to pay a much lower tuition fees as compared to an international student.
Here is my question.
1. Can I apply right now into the current pool or do I have to wait for next year?
2. If I do not get selected will it affect my chances of getting a student visa as I would not be able to deny my intention to live in canada!
Awaiting your replies and thoughts on the same.
Best Regards,
Austin
