1. Lawyers make you sign on a contract saying it is your responsibility if u get refused. Also make you sign saying that if u are refused for medical, or criminality issue they will not do an appeal unless you pay them extra(250 dollar per hour) .
2. Lawyers will not help with NOC as you need just to get it from your employer(if he is not cooperative , the application is screwed)
3. Lawyers have no preferential treatment by cic
4. It is your responsibility to collect all other required papera and just send them to the lawyer. So they send them, which mean u are doing the real stuff here.
5. They will ask u the questions that are on the forms to write them down, so we are basically filling forms orally.. haha..
5. Cic send to lawyer , then lawyer 2-3 days later forward e mail to u!?! So why to waste your time!!
I advise consulting a lawyer on certain issues, like giing to them and consulting for one hour on how to respond to CIC if they have suspicions or issues with the file. But no need to hand over the whole application to them.
This is my personal Opinion and it is your decision and choice. My friends were telling me to hire one and saying this is an important step in ur life and u should do things right.. but i wish i was wise enough to save my money..
