Should I accept OINP or wait for EE draws?

I was fortunate enough to get the OINP nomination! My current EE FSW score is at 438 and with the current rate of draws, its unlikely I will get selected under the normal draw process.
If I accept it, will I go through the same steps as the regular express entry once I get selected as part of the next draw?

I haven't really been able to find an equivalent job in Ontario compared to what I have through the job bank. This would mean that I going to be most likely living in Ontario and commuting back and forth across the border. Is this going to be an issue?

Thanks!

Then yes you'll go through the same EE application process.
Just to be clear, did you just receive a Notification of Interest from OINP or have you already applied and got your nomination.

I got the NOI, went through their application process, paid the $1,500 and then got the nomination. Trying to debate if I should just take it because regular EE cut off points don't seem to be falling.

What about the job requirement? Are we supposed to work in Ontario as well?

you were nominated by ontario because they want you to work there.

Valid point. This would be ideal for sure. However, I have not been able to find anything on the job banks website that comes close in terms of scope or compensation to my existing role.

So where would that put me?

Relax, first step is to get PR then second step is to get a job.

That makes me feel a little better. The thing is I have my current job by the border on the US side. Keeping fingers crossed if the PR comes through, can I continue commuting till the I get an equivalent or better job on the Canadian side?

I.e. I do not want to get stuck without a job irrespective of which side of the border I am on.

job bank is useless, maybe the most useless thing in the universe. try linkedin.ca or indeed.ca
i got a few calls and phone interview rounds by pretending im in canada already just to test them out. gave me confidence that ill get a job soon when i get there.
