Hi Experts,
Can you please help with information on medical surveillance (for inactive TB) for planning a short landing(2 weeks):

1) How long does it take to get an appointment for the medical surveillance
2) Is it possible to get the appointment before landing to have time to get an appointment in time before departing
3) In case the medical surveillance appointment could not be completed within the duration, what are the implications.

Any help with relevant information/ experience will be immensely helpful.

Thanks

Once you do your landing, The immigration officer will give you a medical survelliance form at the [border or airport. With that form you need to contact Toronto Public Health within 30 days after you land and TPH will guide you from there. They will ask you get different tests done before they can send a report to IRCC.

I have a relative with the same case, who stayed for short landing for 30 days. They reported over the phone upon landing, he wasn't asked to do any tests, but was just asked to phone back before departure. That was all.
