Short hearing

Dear friends
Any one here went for short hearing to share their experiences about how long usually it takes and what will happen there, or what normally the member will ask them. My friend asked to go for her short hearing and she needs some help to be ready.

It's less than 2 hours , in the first 10 mn will be just about confirm that you read this and that and that you agree and swear to say the truth, then next 40 mn you will have to answer some questions about your story, so prepare yourself very well take your time to understand the question and don't contradict yourself by saying something that contradict what you wrote in your BOC, and don't forget you are not allowed to use any notes or documents during the hearing. Some people had the decision about their claim by the end of their hearing.
Good luck and please stay calm and sleep well specially the night before.
