Hi All,

Wondering which shipping option should we go for ECA done by WES.

I believe since ECA report is also being provided online which we can use while submitting application for Express entry, we can wait for paper report to come or do we really need to have paper report while submitting application?

Which method should be use..Canada post vs International courier?
 
Earlier many applicants complained that it took long time to get the reports through regular post.. also attimes there was some lost cases and due to regular post option, there is no way to track.. I didn't take the chance and unnecessary pain.. The whole waiting game is itself painful for other process.. but ofcourse, you don't need the hardcopy to apply for EE and comfortably wait before getting ITA.. Decision is yours..
 
So Hamidur basically the reason to avoid Canada post is mainly because of lack of tracking option and threat of misplace than timing right because we are anyway getting the pdf report right?

Also wondering do we require paper report after getting the invitation and applying for visa.
 
Go for Express Courier. You don't want to anxiously wait for the report without tracking number for God knows how long.

I believe that you need the hard copy later, coz u have to scan the hard copy and upload after getting ITA.. The copy you will receive online is not exactly the same compare to the hard copy.. AFAIK..
 
I m facing the same problem ...I got the online version on 10/3/2015 and still not get the hard copy through Canada post.
go for the other option you might get it earlier and the good this is that U will also get the Tracking no. as well.
 
We paid for the $7.50 standard, CA to UK. As soon as it said results ready online it had already arrived in the post. They must have posted it 2 weeks before it said online.

We ordered two separately for myself and boyf and they arrived in 2 days of each other. FYI total wait time was 4ish weeks.
 
@FAK its still 115-16 days since you got the online version. Probably too much delay, you should wait more :P :P

@kryt0n... oh you lucky one that you got the paper copy before online...
 
The reason why I was concerned it because of huge difference in prices ~$80 and then since I am also re-appearing for IELTS to improve my overall points (remember for foreign exp and education, points are also linked with language score...50 vs 25). So again have to pay IELTS fees :(
 
I went for the standard post option and am thinking I made the wrong choice.

WES are known for their poor communications. I have experienced this first hand. You can't call and if you email them it takes them at least a week to reply (if they reply at all). If the postal report goes missing and it is not tracked. I would imagine it being an absolute nightmare to resolve with WES. I just hope that there are no issues with my application.

With hindsight, I would've gone with tracked.
