Please can anyone tell me that my application status's most recent action is showing waiting list today. I applied on 16 august 2017 for diploma in sheridan college. What this means??

Hiiiii could you tell me that you had applied for sheridan in last year and the process was showing in waiting list
Nearly when this was cleared and you get the offer letter or not i am asking beacuse i had applied for sheridan college in the course computer system technician on 7/8/2018
