I still have doubts about his application, even though he posted that screen shot. Many people with job offers overseas with Canadian spouses do not get the urgent processing privilege. Assuming he got the expedited process, he still didn't mention the details of how he managed to obtain such process and how he can help others doing so.

We have people still waiting for test invites since January and February, I'm sure that a number of them need urgent processing for many reasons, but all got the same routine normal processing.

Congrats! Why and how urgent process? How can you get this?

I did read some of the comments here before I submitted my application regarding to urgent process. Normally, it says CIC will not be happy to process your application urgently if you just want to get the citizenship for working outside of Canada. However, the difference between a regular work contract and my offer is that I was getting an internship offer which has a clear time limit. So I reckon CIC has learnt that I will be definitely coming back to Canada after internship.

Second, over the past 4 years of becoming a PR, I never step my foot outside of Canada, not even a single day. So my records are super super healthy for urgent process.

Like I said, I think the biggest reason for my application to get urgently processed is that I've never been outside of the country since the day I landed here. Never a single flight off the country. Plus I'm grad student, so my records are super super clean.

And the differences between my job offer and a regular job offer is that the contract I received is an internship offer, meaning I will have to come back to Canada after a certain time period.

Another reason is that even it is an internship contract, the company who offered this is big like Apple Inc. (Tho I don't want to say which exactly my company is), so considering a new grad student like me who got this huge internship opportunity, and with a clear background, they've done it in urgent process.

I actually don't understand what's the point of making a fake timeline on here? For bragging out? Just what's the point. Like my case is super special, it is one of the cases that the IRCC rarely seen before. With all those conditions mentioned, CIC got to process it urgently. I'm not expecting people to believe, I'm just sharing a very special case, which is mine. And nothing else.

Like I said, my contract from the company is super big, it might be even bigger than all of those who got a working contract overseas. And CIC noticed the weight of the contract to a student, so they got it process urgently. The urgent request also got passed on to Passport Canada via CIC (2 separate departments, right? but anyways).
