Okies but as the the link it seems its not for all the cases, this is case specific where documents are not matching so they start "Verification" .

So how will they know the documents are not matching? They need some reference material to cross-cright? right ?

You will have a “Verification” status in My Account when:

• The documents received differ from the documents WES has received from the same institution or system of education.
  

This means they will contact the university and get the details of your academic record and cross-verify it. If and only if they differ they will show you the "verification status" in your dashboard.

The staff in my college told they regularly get verification request and to my surprise they find many fake degrees being sent to WES, even the degrees are from students who have never attended my college. My college is NIT ( India ), so if this can happen in NIT's means it can happen more frequently and common with not well-known universities or colleges.

You have nothing to worry about, all is well. Being popular or not isn't an issue, Just the thing is your College should be legal and approved by the institution or government body in your country.

Thanks for the reply, i understand, it just bothers me somehow, they are there for years, and have like 7 branches if i am not wrong, so should be Legal eventho there was bad rumour couple year ago

My wife's documents delivered on 2/22 but still status says "Document review in progress". When she reached out to them, they responded that her evaluation is in progress but online status did not yet updated. Meanwhile my documents delivered on 2/23 and my status changed to "evaluation". Anyone with same issue ?

Yes same here I got my report and his report is still in review. In my case our University, Education, Document delivery date and all were same. It is normal and it totally depends on WES.

No need to contact WES...Judging by my experience...your next update should be in 2 weeks time from 7 March. If your documents are accepted..your report should be out by 10-11 April or before that...

If you are a well-known guy with good contacts then there is a possibility the university registrar staff can tell you the status or communication things happening.

Started reaching out to registrar office...thankfully not required to follow up any more..

Even my due date is 19th, from 9th I am sitting on Final review, most probably the result must be out by today.

For you, it might get into Final review today or by tomorrow because they take approx 2-3 days for final review.

Generally, it would not be a problem. Wish your application too gets processed faster.

Got my wife's report finally..!! My WES journey ends here, it was a pleasant moment to be here and interact with all of you guys. Hope everyone's has a pleasant WES journey.
