Share your WES timelines for 2017

Hi All Gurus,

Need expert guidance from you all for submitting documents to WES. I have completed my B.E from Mumbai University in 2006 (Degree Awarded Year).

Below were the documents send to WES for verification

1st and 4th Year Marksheets Attested by University --> I got these marksheets attested from Churchgate. I was given an open envelope with university stamp on back side which i sealed by putting the attested marksheets in it. For my case semester 1 marksheet was issued by my college and not by University. Semester 2 marksheet was issued by university.
2nd and 3rd Year Marksheets Attested by College --> I got these marksheets attested from my college and were send in college sealed envelope.

I received below response from WES


Statement of Marks (University Issued and Attested) |

Not Accepted

Reason: Document was not received in accordance with WES stated document requirements.

Instructions: Mark sheets for year 2 and 3 of your study program (semesters 3-6) may be issued and attested by the college you attended. Mark sheets representing year 1 and 4 of study must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai.

Not sure what mistake did i make as i followed the instruction mentioned on WES website

Do i need to go to Kalina for getting the attested copies in sealed envelope??
If i can do it from Churchgate then could someone help to understand in better way, what would be the exact procedure??
Somehow i get a feel that as i am including Sem 1 marksheet (issue by college) hence WES is rejecting. Is there a procedure to convert Sem 1 marksheet from college to University or do i need a covering letter stating that as per old rules Sem 1 marksheet were issued by college and unviersity..?

Appreciate any and every kind of guidance/suggestion.

The uni stamp has to be across the seal so they know that you received it in a sealed condition. Maybe that's also a problem?

Completion date was Oct 11, status : in progress, still reviewing evaluation report!!
On contacting, they say you might get result this week !!!

The status was Report in review from 21st September until yesterday without even any update in time stamp.

Called WES yesterday around 12.30 PM Toronto time. I was extremely lucky they picked up within 30 seconds wait time. The agent's response was just reassuring that they will issue report before due date but she wasn't sure when it will be moved to final stage. I also had a query regarding update in my account information for which i was waiting for them to reply for over 10 days.

Updates in my account today: Status Changed to Final Review + They replied to my query and made the required changes in my account.

So far it's going all good.

Timeline So far:


Application submitted and payment made: 29 August
Institution 1 Documents delivered: 5 September
My set of Documents delivered: 7 September
Institution 2 Documents delivered: 11 September.
Documents under Review: 12 September to 21 September
Evaluation Report under Review: 21 September to 5 October
Current Status: Final Review with Completion date 12 October.

Yup. Due date is 12 October and account status is report in final review with last update date of 5 October. I don't see mine coming this week after looking at your and other cases.

Do you know how many days does the delivery of the credentials assessment (WES) by courier takes?
My report was completed on October 3th (I already have the pdf), and I chose the standard delivery for official assessment.

I have not created EE profile yet and still waiting for WES report, in EE profile which number we need to provide ? is it WES reference number or some other number which is on the WES evaluation report ? Can someone please clarify. My WES report is due on 10/15/2017 .

it should be your reference number with IMM. something look like #######IMM. but wait till you receive the pdf at least.

Hey Guys,

If anyone can help for the process for B.com Degree with WES.

What i understand is 1st and 2nd year mark sheet needs to be attested with college.
For 3rd year, Do university issue mark sheet or we need to get our existing marksheet attested from University of Mumba ?. Does it to be only by Registrar or it can be attested by anyone ?

While sending the documents i had made sure that stamps and seal were in order and as per requirement of WES.

I would like to know that if i submit my 2nd 7th & 8th sem marksheets in sealed envelope from university then will it be considered by WES?

This is because i was issued 1st sem marksheet by my college on behalf of University. But WES requirement says 1st yr and 4yr marksheet should be attested by Univeristy.

still no news from WES;

trust them to screw over your plans

I have tried all the usual ways to reach them.

One of them finally replied to my query that had sent on 8th Oct regarding result status.. I get this reply from them on 12th Oct, that "you will get the results on 11th Oct"

Seems like they are living in parallel universe in a different timeline
