Would like to start a new thread discuss/ share CIC timeline experiences.

You should start a topic for one particular visa processing office timeline instead of common for all CIC offices. Different visa offices have different time lines.

And just why don't you think they are accurate? It states 6 months for first level approval or refusal.

Every visa office is different in their processing times as well as each case. I believe the times on the CIC website are averages of the cases being processes in each office. So, someone might get lucky and have a very short wait time while others my have a longer one. It's all case by case basis and using the processing times should give someone a general idea of when they can expect a response.

CPC M is usually pretty accurate, however since January they have been all over the place.

once member said when speaking with a CIC agent they indicated that the CPC-M office had made a mistake and missed processing a bunch of applications received in January and skipped to late January and early February applications. so now they have back tracked to early January and increased the processing times to 60+ days.
