I am losing my mind with IRCC. I have waited nearly 8months for my PR card. They claimed Canada post returned it 3 months ago, but that makes no sense since it’s sent by mail and we have a a mail room at the condo. I have updated the address to a house and called to confirm and it’s been over a month since I’ve done that. What else can I do? It’s a joke that I’ve waited this long, and even just after I had to wait 3 years for PR

Police record required - Feb 23, 2022
Police record provided - Feb 28, 2022
Medical exam required - Apr 8, 2022
Medical exam provided - Apr 20, 2022
1st PR approved Email - June 3, 2022
1st reply for credentials to the Portal email - June 3, 2022
2nd Portal Email/second notice - June 16, 2022
2nd reply for credentials to the Portal email - June 17, 2022
Portal credentials - June 18, 2022
Photo submission and address confirmation -June 20, 2022
eCOPR - June 21, 2022
PR- spouse PR July 12, 2022
PR - still waiting for mine

Thanks for sharing your timeline. It happened something similar to ours - I got my card. Still waiting for my spouse's card since June 8th and getting stressed every single minute.

I really don't understand how they can get one, and not the other, it blows my mind

I don't understand either. It doesn't make sense. It just increases our anxiety after a long-time PR process. Anyway. Please, let's be in touch whenever you receive yours. I'll do the same. Hopefully it will not take so long.

Does this mean the email address I will use for the PR portal or the Email address IRCC used for this request ? (The email address I would like to use is different with the email address used for receiving this information request email from IRCC)

you can use a different email address
just be sure that is one that you check frequently

My card was sent yesterday according to Gckey!

Hi did you receive the card in the mail? I got my card approval email (GCKey) more than 3 weeks ago and radio silence since - got a trip booked in 3 weeks and getting a bit antsy...

Can anybody give me some advice, please? I am still waiting on my 1st PR card but I have a trip booked for early next month to go get my family. Do you think there’ll be an issue if I went then apply for a PRTD to get back in Canada?
