share you timeline for getting eCoPR/PR card approved in PR Confirmation Portal

Hello all,

I received my ecopr on 16 Dec. I just attempted to link the pr card application today successfully and it just says it’s being processed. How long does it usually take for the photo to be approved and the pr card to be sent?

Also, on the pr portal the declaration is just “submitted to IRCC” and the address is “accepted”, but the photo is still “in review by IRCC”. My application on gckey is final decision approved, but saying that “documents are being reviewed”, is that normal?

Hey guys, IMPORTANT INFO that could be helpful:

I have been waiting for my eCOPR for two weeks at this point after submitting the portal on the 22nd of December.

This morning, I emailed IRCC asking I've been waiting for two weeks while most landings take one week, and I asked for an update.

Low and behold, I just got an email that my eCOPR is available to download.

Now, I don't know if this is just a coincidence or my email actually got through.

Hello, I have emailed them several times no response. Did you write something else on the subject line or just replied to the email that you recieved the first time from them? Not sure if I need to mention something which makes them actually check my email. I have been waiting since November 21st.

Got a call from the MP office: Dec 8, 2021
FINALLY got eCoPR: Dec 13, 2021

I hope I get my card soon, but after fighting for so long (over 50 calls to ircc), I am just happy to finally have my CoPR. What a nightmare this has been.

So if you are waiting on your eCoPR, it's definitely worth it to contact your MP.

anyone knows how to respond to portal 1 email asking to confirm principle applicant is inside Canada.
How should I reply if the dependents are outside Canada? and never entered Canada before.

HI everyone, my partner got his portal email and currently here in toronto, and we sent picture and address confirmation last friday. This is from etob office. We had a lawyer when we did our application so was told this week all should be done. But reading through this forum, I see the the final ecopr and card varies on when it is all said and done. Anyone who got theirs early in 2 weeks and dealt with etob office? what was your experience. much thanks.

It takes about 2 - 3 weeks to receive eCoPR. You won't receive your PR card for a few months - current processing time is at 71 days which puts it at late March, early April.

Thanks Hylan, at least with the eCOPR, I can apply for OHIP, SIN etc in the mean time so that is fine.

Exactly - PR card is good to have as ecopr is only valid for a period of time, but it will get you set up and able to apply for new jobs etc.

Not sure if you received you eCoPR yet, but we loaded our photos and confirmed the address 89 days ago, and we are still waiting for our eCoPR. Last time we called IRCC they said we have to wait and the delay it's been caused by "all the things going on in the world".

On top of that, there is no way to check the status or to get any updates. There isn't even an approximate lead time for this part of the process.

The Canadian government does not walk the talk. The Express Entry isn't that express any more.

nothing specific, I just replied to the email which confirms that you've submitted you case on the portal
