You have to work for the same employer until you get your PR. At last minute, they may, or may not, ask for paystubs just to make sure you are still working for the same employer. If you change employer, you have to let them know and I think it might delay your application.
I got P2 on feb 7 ( replied feb8) still waiting for ecopr. When i login in pr portal account my address shows "still review". How can we know background check is done, etc. i submitted my file in july 2024.
Wow. That's fast. Most may applicants are still waiting for p1 and you july applicant already got p2. You are fortunate. What's your visa office please. Am a july applicant too
Really just waste of time to email anywhere, they will process your file when it is your turn. If it made any difference everyone would be doing it. Sit tight and be patient. And for the job change, as long as you change your job after ecopr, you are fine. Which I did too. But just make sure you remain in the community that you might get some problem renewing your pr when you leave. Though it looks like you like your employer and he paid for everything? If you leave as soon as you get PR then it will decrease trust between employers and new immigrants who are seeking a new life in the community. So, it is your choice.
